AFTER TALKING WITH PROSPECTIVE COMPANIES
- Feedback from me about the conversation.
- Where do we go from here i.e. interview, wait, or no interest.
- Discuss counter offer.
AFTER THE INTERVIEW EITHER PHONE OR IN-PERSON
- Feedback from client.
- Your input. How do you feel about the interview and do you want to move forward?
- Decision point.
- Send thank you letter.
- Discuss counter offer.
REFERENCE CHECKING AND OTHER DETAILS
- All followed by a formal offer letter.
- Decision point.
- Expect a possible drug test, personality test, and/or credit check.
- Call the hiring authority directly and accept the job.
RESIGNATION
- Two weeks’ notice is the acceptable standard.
- Expect counteroffer
START DATE
- Mutually agree to start date.
